Will You Marry Me?
Will you marry me?
Not in religion, or by the state.
But in your heart, to be my mate.
For better or worse, I don’t really know.
When things get tough, I might have to go.
In sickness and health, I’m not so sure.
Theirs quality of life, and a question of cure.
What and how long, till I’ve had my fill.
If I get what I want, maybe I will.
For rich or for poor, is asking a lot.
It really depends, on how much you got.
Till death do we part, what can I say.
That seems like a lot, to have to pay.
I know that you are out there.
In fantasy land.
I dreamt last night.
I was holding your hand.
