# 41 "Mind Games."

Mind Games.

To tell the truth you can bet your life that some of the personal ads on the internet sites are phony as in false start or people playing games because the price is right.
The last personal ad of my concentration was not newlywed material.
I am not playing games, and do not want to replay a game of scrabble.
I know life can be interpreted as a monopoly game, and the word game has multiple context and meanings.
I am referring to truth or consequences and fair play.
If you are playing trivial pursuit then spin the bottle or wheel of fortune with someone else.
My interpretations are not a fair call, because in a parallel to the game of chess I sacrificed my Queen to a Knight, and I lost the Castle as in disqualified, and the full house was in jeopardy.
That knockout was called fowl play when the pinch hitter went out of bounds with his cheep shots clearly below the belt.
Now someone I was coaching had entered the ring, and my partner was cheating with some fast moves.
The players went over the limit from under the table, and took a dive by scheduling a few night games.
There was full body contact but the referee was hedging the bet from the side lines.
Now after calling time out I wonder if I have a full deck of cards as in I lost my marbles entering the arena of a dating game without establishing the rules. Right now I have everything to gain, and I do not want to lose you before the second round.
My goal is to win your heart right from the starting gate, and go for the gold.
I am trying to score by the third quarter without ending up in the penalty box for rushing.
It all started with a forward pass which is par for the course, but that was just a roll of the dice.
I am not on the rebound, and you are up next, or I will lose your turn.
You have to call the shot so I do not end up behind the eight ball, or disqualified for interference.
I can only hope my first pitch is not a foul ball, and I make it to first base.
I am talking hard ball so I do not want a short stop, to be intentionally walked, or not have a chance to reach home plate.
A ground rule double is more my speed in this event.
To win hearts without diamonds I will have to trump the ace to win my queen for a day, and be smarter than a fifth grader to keep her.
If I have qualified as one of the top contenders, I will meet you at the 50 yard line.
Touch backs, holding, and over time are optional.
Their is the occasional pop up on a quick play but a warm up period, double play with a photo finish is the best.
Theirs extra points for gaining possession from center court.
This is your life, and the ball is in your court, so deal or no deal.
