With the sails set tight.
And the breeze just right.
My dreams of you have all come true.
We are the crew and love is in view.
A whispering of the air.
Trickles through your hair.
Your beautiful lips I see.
As if you smile just for me.
Eyes as alluring as can be.
Captivating me helplessly.
Time and distance fade away.
Hear and now will always stay.
The ship sways in gentle waves.
To a rhythm we the willing slaves.
Wish I may and hope I might.
Kiss and hold you again tonight.
Beyond the portals of that tease.
Our charted course to forever please.
For now you’re just in my dream.
It’s all ahead and lots of steam.
Another night at home for me.
Just thoughts of us back at sea.
